The new Snodland - Burham bridge update

The new £19m Snodland - Burham road bridge has now been open since September. It appears to proving a great success, but a number of residents have contacted us asking when the road connection to Wouldham via Hall Road will be open.

There have been some difficulties with the "vehicle detection system" that is required to control the new sets of traffics lights. New equipment to fix this is being tested in the middle of December and, if the equipment is successful, then the road should be opened towards the end of January.
